This website has been extracted from a CD set made from an individual formerly located at Ambassador College in Pasadena. He compiled the vast majority of the information on this site, editorialized some of it, and sent it out to whoever wanted it. Those that received it from him probably copied it as well and gave it to loved ones within the Church; so the information and it's format is well distributed and has been in the hands of many individuals to include myself. It is highly likely that other people have edited the content to suit their means. If someone sees a website that appears familiar to this one, it is not to be assumed that we are connected or working together; rather we have simply shared the same resource. People always need to be cautious about what they read on the internet concerning the word of God, and he will grant understanding and discernment to his people who are honestly seeking both him and his Truth.
I am not against individuals copying this resource, in fact I encourage it as time goes on. I only request that it remain in its present form and entirety, as within one's ability. Please do not edit any further than what has already been done.
This site, under my administration, has existed for several years. In early 2005 I discussed this site with my pastor, Ron Weinland, and it was decided to use this site as a tool for people who are new to the truth of God. Parts of it were edited and refined as necessary, some documents added from other HWA resources and some taken away because they were antiquated or of a nature unnecessary to the purpose of this site. The primary aim of this website is not to keep an archive of all the works of Mr. Armstrong, rather it is meant to help people who are coming along into the truth of God as they are called by him in the present time of trial besetting the world. It is meant to give understanding to the events in our world today and begin people on the path of repenting and being converted into God's way of life. A secondary purpose is to provide a resource concerning the historical events with the Church of God in recent years. As new people search for truth on the internet, they will inevitably encounter numerous falsehoods written by those who despise God's word whether they consciously know it or not. This site is meant to clarify many of the misunderstandings and dispel much of the propaganda that has surrounded the Church in the past 30 years. For similiar reasons it can be a tremendous resource to young people who grew up in the Church. Many of the splinter groups that formed after 1995 have distorted or watered down the truth of God and the Church's history. God willing, this site will be a guide to them as they learn the lies being taught by their ministers.
I can attest to the wealth of information made available on this website, it is one of the main ways God taught me as a youth in a splinter organization that did not teach the word of God. However all information here is useless without God's spirit guiding and directing the instruction, inspiring the words in your mind to be something besides rubbish. Always ask God to give you understanding as you read and as the Church was admonished for so long, "Don't believe me, believe your Bible" and "Follow only those who follow Christ." Only God can show you whether or not Mr. Armstrong followed Christ and who remains a faithful steward to his legacy, will you act on what God shows you?
