Introduction By all rights, this booklet should prove to be one of the most sobering you have ever read. This world is at a pinnacle in all human history. We are at the very time that many thought Jesus Christ was speaking of during his ministry about the Kingdom of God. In Christ's day many of his followers believed he was the prophesied king who had come to deliver the Jewish people from under Roman rule. On Jesus' last day of human life, Pilate asked him if he were a king. Jesus responded by saying that his kingdom was not for that time- that age. But the book of Revelation makes it very clear that it is this same Jesus Christ who will one day return to this earth as King of kings. The very gospel message of the Bible, the gospel Jesus taught, is about the coming Kingdom of God to this earth- a Kingdom that will rule all nations. Mankind has finally come to that point in time! We live at the time- the very age when Jesus Christ will be King over all the earth. But just before that finally happens, man must go through the worst times of his entire 6,00-year history. It is a time referred to in scripture as the great tribulation. You may be reading this booklet after this tribulation has already begun. God reveals that this time will last for 3 1/2 years. Destruction will engulf the entire world with suffering of truly unimaginable proportions. The gospel- good news- is that God's Kingdom will come to this earth as soon as this tribulation is brought to a close by Jesus Christ. This booklet is written first of all to those who were once united as God's true church in a single organization called the Worldwide Church of God. But as God forewarned His Church, in the end-time there would be a great apostasy (falling away from the truth). This booklet speaks of those things that have already come upon God's people at the end of this age. None in the scattered Church will receive what is written in this booklet unless they have been called to become a final remnant of all that were scattered from that one organization. If this is true, then what you read will ring true only because of God's spirit drawing you. If that happens, then you and you alone will decide whether to respond or not. Secondly, this booklet is written to give aid and some understanding to any God may be working with during this period of time- those who have not been part of the end-time Church of God. If you are reading these words and that time has come upon all the world, then perhaps you are being given the opportunity to repent and become a part of a physical remnant God is calling. That remnant will come through this end-time into a new world where Jesus Christ will establish the rule of the Kingdom of God over all nations. This is part of the very outline of prayer that Jesus Christ gave his disciples when he said to pray, "Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy Kingdom come" (Matthew 6:9-10). This time in which you are now living is that time- when that Kingdom will come to this earth!
